Welcome to Igbodo’s African Boutique’s website! We are vendor specializing in authentic African products such as carvings, masks, statues, drums, jewelry, and beauty products. All of our products are personally sourced by Alfred Igbodo from his journeys home in Nigeria.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred and Eva Igbodo are the owners of Igbodo’s African Boutique. Since 1997, they have been selling authentic African wares. Through their travels to Alfred’s home in Nigeria, they were inspired to start the business when they bought a few pieces of African Art (statues, masks, and dashikis). Selling products from their apartment gave them the idea that they could sell on a bigger scale at community festivals. Eventually, they would vend at larger events such as African American Festivals, Jazz Festivals, Sorority Events, Teachers Conferences and many Historically Black Universities Homecomings.

They love the business because it has given them the opportunity to spread their African heritage throughout many regions of the United States. This is due to the fact that they have had the opportunity to travel to Nigeria, Ghana and Caribbean Countries (Haiti, Jamaica, and Cuba).
Furthermore, as the years passed, they decided to add authentic African fashion jewelry and accessories (Earrings, Necklaces, Necklace Sets, and Cowry Shell Belts) to accommodate all people; as well as, African Canes, and Drums.
As the business continues to grow, they have now decided to go to make our products available to the world through our website. We invite you to check out our online store.
